Save Compounded GLP-1 Medications

Compounded Glp-1 Medications Are At Risk

Colorado lawmakers are considering a proposal (Senate Bill 26-066) that will significantly restrict patient access to compounded GLP-1 medications.

These medications for many of our patients have been:

  • The only affordable option
  • The only available option during shortages
  • A treatment their prescriber can customize to their specific needs, including individualized dosing and titration

For patients like you, we understand that brand-name GLP-1 versions may not be suitable due to cost, coverage, tolerability, or individualized treatment plans. Having access to the compounded version allows patients to continue their treatment.

We need to take action to preserve this option for patients who the commercially available medications cannot properly serve.

Lawmakers want to hear from their constituents.

Patients who are currently using or have used compounded GLP-1 medications in the past are encouraged to send a message.

Lawmakers Need to Hear From Patients

Please consider sending a message to your Colorado state legislators sharing how access to compounded medications has positively affected you.

This takes about 60 seconds using the button below.

The system will:

  • Identify your legislators
  • Provide a pre-written message
  • Allow you to edit and add a personal message before sending

Hearing directly from patients helps lawmakers understand the real-world impact of proposed legislation.

Thank you for trusting our pharmacy with your care and for taking a moment to ensure patient voices are heard.
