Job description

Are you tired of interfacing with the public?

This job has almost zero face-to-face customer interaction.

You will NOT be required to work weekends.

This is an ideal position for someone looking to obtain their Pharmacy Technician Certification as the company allows and supports a training program for those seeking to complete their certification.

There is a $500 signing bonus to be paid out after 30 days of employment.

About Position:

If you are a Pharmacy Technician and looking for a change of pace, this is not your normal technician role. You must be a team player as this role requires interaction with multiple other pharmacy roles. You must have a high level of attention to detail. This role finalizes and mails out 75-100 prescriptions a day. This role involves a significant number of repetitive tasks and attention to detail, which may require a high level of patience and diligence.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Follow company-designed shipping protocols that ensure timely, cost effective, traceable, and quality controlled delivery to correct destination
  • ‪Prepare accurate shipping labels and appropriate packaging of medications
  • ‪Communication with patients regarding recent deliveries
  • ‪Troubleshooting delivery exceptions/issues
  • ‪Manage shipping supplies and equipment
  • ‪Providing quality customer care and service to all patients
  • ‪Work with other team members to coordinate deliveries
  • ‪Maintain electronic shipping manifests as designed by the pharmacy

Pharmacy Technician

Job description

Prior compounding experience a plus, but willing to train a Certified Technician without prior compounding experience if they show an exemplary skill set and the drive to learn a new expertise.

Supports pharmacological services by assembling, stocking, and distributing medications.

Duties:

  • Helps health care providers, answering questions and requests and referring inquiries to the pharmacist.
  • Maintains pharmacy inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipts; removing outdated products.
  • Maintains a safe and clean work area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
  • Maintain proper compounding records following all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Prepares reports by collecting and summarizing information as required by the position.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:

Extemporaneous Compounding Experience 2+years, Supply Management, Organization, Integrity, Reporting Skills, Attention to Detail, Dependability, Creating a Safe, Effective Environment, Quality Focus, Supply Management, Analyzing Information, Multi-task.

$20 to $25/hour - depending on experience.
